Job Summary
The Research Project Coordinator provides administrative, financial, and project support to the Emerging Radio Systems Group (EmRG) at the University of Waterloo. This role involves coordinating research projects, managing finances, and providing human resources administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate research project schedules and deadlines
- Monitor accounts and ensure compliance with granting agency regulations
- Assist in preparing reports and grant proposals
- Provide administrative support to the research team
- Liaise with researchers, collaborators, and agencies
- Coordinate logistics for research meetings and events
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or higher degree preferred
- 3 years of related administrative experience
- Experience in project coordination and financial management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
