About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and support in project management, working closely with clients through the design and construction process, and managing the application and permitting process with municipalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support in project management, including design, analysis, and report writing.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage the application and permitting process with municipalities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and cultivate positive business relationships with existing and prospective clients, external bodies, and internal team members.
  • Travel to project sites within Ontario, GTA, to oversee borehole drilling, geotechnical assessments, and other project-related activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Geotechnical Engineering role.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  • P.Eng certification through PEO is mandatory, or ability to certify.
  • College or University education mandatory, Bachelors degree or Diploma mandatory. Masters education is preferred.
  • Experience in projects related to pavement design, tunnelling, slope stability, railways, water infrastructure, and land development is highly preferred.
  • AutoCAD, MS Office skills are essential.
