Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lunchtime Monitor. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for providing general supervision and monitoring of students during nutrition breaks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general supervision and monitoring of students during nutrition breaks
  • Assist students with opening lunch containers and wiping hands and tables after eating
  • Perform other related duties, including:
    • Assistance with arrival and/or dismissal of students
    • Supervision during recesses
    • Supervision in kindergarten classrooms
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • The ability to act quickly in emergency situations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to use tact, diplomacy, and discretion in interactions within the school community
  • First Aid and Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) training would be an asset
Working Conditions

This is a casual position, and you will be required to work Monday to Friday, with duties taking place from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.
