Job Title: Staff Neonatologist

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical and teaching skills, with proficiency in leading a multidisciplinary team in the care of high-risk newborns.

They will be committed to providing, advancing, and promoting excellence in clinical care, education, quality improvement, and have a scholarly focus that will lead to academic advancement within the School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in community paediatrics and outreach programs, and will be able to function proficiently in English.

They will hold an MD, MBBS or equivalent thereto and be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications.

Candidates are required to have a minimum of two years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine and must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

In addition to salary, the successful candidate will be eligible for percentages in lieu of benefits, vacation pay and academic allowance.
