We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at NEW MAPLE GEOMATICS INC. as a Land Surveyor Assistant.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior surveyors in conducting field surveys and data collection.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations and GPS devices.
- Help to prepare and update survey plans and reports.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will work outdoors in various locations, including rural and urban areas. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry surveying equipment and tools.
- Availability to work a regular 30-40 hour workweek.
