Geological Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Technician to join our team at Waterline Resources Inc. in a permanent position.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental audits, surveys, and studies to support our mining and oil and gas operations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct environmental audits and surveys to identify potential environmental risks and opportunities.
- Design and implement measures to minimize undesirable environmental effects of mining and oil and gas operations.
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems.
- Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross-sections.
- Assist in hydrogeological field and laboratory studies.
- Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, and well surveys.
- Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination.
- Conduct research and technical analyses of survey and field data.
- Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data.
- College/CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of geological and geochemical principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
