Automotive Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Equipment Technician to join our team at GT AUTO INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving tools, equipment, and other materials, holding stakes during surveying activities, and performing other labouring and elemental activities.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and will be willing to train. Experience in a similar field is an asset.

As an Automotive Equipment Technician, you will work in an electric power company environment, estimating costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service, installing machinery and equipment, and applying fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials
  • Holding stakes during surveying activities
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
  • Installing machinery and equipment
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products

Working hours are 30 hours per week, and the work term is permanent. The work language is English.
