Job Title: Associate Physician, Medical Oncology

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Physician in Medical Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer – Surrey. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical and academic services to patients with cancer.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with cancer, as well as participating in research and educational activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Participate in research and educational activities, including clinical trials and academic programs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cancer
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in medical oncology and incorporate this knowledge into practice

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and a minimum of 2 years' training in a postgraduate medical training program
  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia in the Associate Physician Class
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
