About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MAI'S KITCHEN VIETNAMESE CUISINE INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Vietnamese cuisine, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Staff Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining a clean and welcoming kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
