Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check assembly of trays, establish work schedules, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, dependability, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
