Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Engineering Team Lead to join our team at Goldbeck Recruiting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise and Advisory Role: Provide technical guidance and support to our project teams and clients, ensuring the successful delivery of geotechnical engineering projects.
  2. Business Development and Growth: Contribute to the development of proposals and participate in business development activities to acquire new clients and expand existing projects.
  3. Project Management: Coordinate and manage profitable projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and scope satisfaction.
  4. Field Investigations and Monitoring: Conduct geotechnical field investigations and monitoring of construction activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Construction, Oil & Gas, Energy, and Transportation industries.
  • Geotechnical Engineering Experience: 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in project management and technical expertise.
  • Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
  • Professional Registration: Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
  • Business Development and Client Retention: Experience in business development and client retention, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proposal Development and Review: Experience in preparing and reviewing proposals, with a strong understanding of the proposal development process.
  • Civil and Geotechnical Design Software: Experience with civil and geotechnical design software, including gINT, AutoCAD, and Slide.
