Geotechnical Senior Engineer

TechnipFMC is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing activities related to the geotechnical analysis of pipeline systems and foundations without supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead junior and intermediate engineers on analysis projects
  • Interface with clients to verify analysis results and technical report writing
  • Design soil parameter interpretation from available geotechnical & geophysical data
  • Site Investigation recommendations on type and quantity of tests required
  • Geotechnical risk assessments and Trenching assessments
  • Subsea Structure Foundation Design to ISO, DNVGL or API standards
  • Pipeline-Soil Interaction assessments to DNVGL F114
  • Design and assessment of suction pile capacity and hammered pile capacity

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor of Engineering
  • Minimum of five to seven years' experience in the oil and gas industry related to subsea geotechnics
  • Registered with PEG-NL as a Professional Engineer
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good leadership abilities
