Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Expert to join our team at Avanade. As a key member of our Workplace Platform Support team, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing a large-scale M365 environment for a public sector organization.

Responsibilities

Key Skills and Experiences

  3. Experience with end-users to resolve technical problems.
  4. Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, matrixed organization, including experience with offshore teams and delivery.

About You

You are an experienced business technology transformation professional, with over 5 years of technical delivery, solution shaping, estimating, and delivery experience. This experience includes working within a consultancy or systems integrator. You project an expert level of knowledge and a high degree of creativity about how to use Microsoft and other technologies to deliver business value.

Additional Qualifications
  • Experience in Office 365 transformations, including implementation of Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with upgrading to Windows 11, SCCM & Intune; experience with Virtualization, specifically Azure Virtual Desktops and Windows 365 is a plus.
  • Experience and understanding of workplace security with Microsoft EMS E5 suite.
  • Experience with Tenant migrations, GSuite migration to Microsoft.
  • Strong consulting/project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large-scale, complex projects.
What You'll Do
  1. Review and categorize incoming support tickets, escalating more complex issues to higher levels.
  2. Directly interact with end-users to resolve common technical problems.
  3. Perform new setup and configuration of new systems or applications.
  4. Update the knowledge base with new solutions and procedures related to upgrades and enhancements.
