We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our agile team, working on two of Canada's most popular web sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results, from refinement to deployment, and will be hands-on in solutioning, implementing, and testing new features.
Key Responsibilities- Creatively develop and implement new features for our web applications using React and other frontend and backend technologies.
- Continuously optimize code for maximum performance and design robust, modular, and highly reusable code.
- Maintain and refactor existing features to ensure they meet the highest standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA/Developers in Test to develop new features and ensure full end-to-end test coverage.
- Participate in a fast-paced environment where your input is valued and sought after, contributing by recommending best practices and driving forward web app innovation.
- Over 3 years of experience in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficient in building web-based UIs with React.
- Strong skills in TypeScript.
- Solid cross-browser compatibility skills.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development tools and processes.
- Experience with Unit, Integration, and Acceptance Testing.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical solutions.
- Experience with mobile web either in adaptive or responsive methods.
