About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Inlet Chevron. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data and trends to inform merchandising decisions, ensuring the store is stocked with the right products to meet customer demand.
  • Store Operations: Oversee store maintenance, ensuring the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management role
  • Work Setting: Retail business
  • Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train staff, authorize payments, order merchandise, and more
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and more
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player
