Join Our Team as a Senior Physiotherapist at PHSA
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to become an integral part of our multidisciplinary team within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Mother-Baby Care (MBC). This position offers a vibrant academic atmosphere that emphasizes evidence-based practices, patient-focused research, and pioneering clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive Physiotherapy evaluations and design tailored treatment plans
- Identify the necessity for specialized therapeutic equipment and facilitate its acquisition
- Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Contribute to multidisciplinary collaborations and partake in research initiatives
- Deliver educational sessions and training for team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Sciences
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Registered with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia
- Proven ability to operate both independently and as part of a team
