Position Overview

K-Indu. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright Technician to join our team. This permanent position requires a dedicated individual who can work effectively in a variety of environments.

Work Conditions

  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee machinery installation and maintenance
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of defective machinery components
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Fabricate necessary parts for maintenance and installation
  • Estimate material and cost requirements
  • Perform routine machinery maintenance
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate lifting and hoisting equipment
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Qualifications
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • WHMIS Certification
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with conveyors, fans, and blowers
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with power tools and welding equipment
  • Ability to work with pumps, compressors, and hand tools
