Position Overview

K-Indu. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Millwright Foreman/Woman to oversee our maintenance operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our mechanical systems are functioning efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Recommend strategies to enhance productivity
  • Supervise team members and oversee projects
  • Coordinate and schedule work activities
  • Provide training or arrange for training sessions
  • Prepare bids and estimates
  • Calculate costs and required materials
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Advise on personnel actions
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate with other units
Supervision
  • Oversee a team of 3-4 individuals
  • Manage construction millwrights
  • Guide apprentices
Required Certifications
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Transportation and Travel
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Own vehicle necessary
