Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate and Manage Food Costs
Develop and implement strategies to optimize food costs, ensuring that our culinary operations are efficient and profitable.
Lead Kitchen OperationsSupervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that all food preparation and cooking activities are carried out to the highest standards.
Develop and Implement MenusDesign and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our clients, while also ensuring that our culinary offerings are innovative and appealing.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesOversee the ordering and inventory management of all food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our operations are well-stocked and efficient.
Ensure Food Safety and QualityDevelop and implement procedures to ensure that all food is prepared and served safely and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements- Education and Certification
Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience and SkillsMinimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management.
Certifications and LicensesCook Trade Certification, Safe Food Handling certificate, Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
