Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at GS Construction. This role involves operating heavy machinery in various outdoor settings, ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Work Environment
  • Outdoor work conditions
  • Exposure to dust and potentially hazardous environments
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe excavators and loaders.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is in safe working order.
  • Prepare and submit accident reports as necessary.
  • Utilize two-way radios and other communication devices effectively.
  • Carry out minor repairs on equipment as needed.
