About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Cambie Physiotherapy and Health Clinic Inc. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care
    • Administer tests and instruct patients on procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment
    • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
    • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical and progress reports
    • Document patient rehabilitation progress and outcomes
  • Administrative Support
    • Process files and paperwork efficiently and accurately
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
    • Manage routine office functions, including reception and telephone duties
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluent in English
    • 40 hours per week, in a fast-paced environment
