IT Support Specialist Job Description

SkySail Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Kelowna, British Columbia. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide fast and friendly IT support, robust cybersecurity solutions, and IT strategy services to small and medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled or reactive remote support services
  • Analyze and solve various IT problems
  • Maintain positive customer satisfaction and relationships
  • Keep documentation accurate and in good order
  • Manage and facilitate the completion of customers' support requests
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT administration and/or technical support
  • MSP experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware and software applications
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of server and workstation operating systems
  • Demonstrated experience with web and internet technologies
  • Microsoft Azure/Endpoint Manager environment experience a plus
  • Driver's license
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-learning abilities
  • Show initiative when undertaking tasks
  • Able to work well both within a team environment and autonomously
