Job Title: Back Office Representative

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to execute trade orders on behalf of clients, ensuring prompt and accurate execution while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute trade orders for clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of trade orders and maintain high-quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of industry experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Fluency in French, with the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong knowledge of back office functionalities, including securities settlement and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
Education:
  • College Diploma/University Degree in a related field
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CSC, CPH, and IIROC licenses

Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English in addition to French, as they will be working closely with other teams and serving an English-speaking clientele.
