Investment Representative Role

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Investment Representative to join our team. As an Investment Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced contact centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute trade orders on behalf of clients, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
  • Provide expert knowledge of our trading platforms, order routing, and client segments to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Actively engage with clients to resolve issues, provide value-added service, and achieve First Call Resolution.
  • Liaise with supervisors, settlements, credit, and executing brokers to ensure proper handling of client orders.
  • Identify and capitalize on cross-sell and referral opportunities to grow our business.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of industry experience, with a minimum of 1 year in sales and 1 year in discount brokerage.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to recognize risk to the firm, and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of back office functionalities, equity strategies, and margin requirements.
  • College Diploma/University Degree and relevant industry courses (CSC, CPH, IIROC licensed as an IR and DFOL).
