Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive knowledge in media strategy and communication planning to significantly impact the healthcare industry. You will spearhead the strategy formulation for healthcare providers and patients, crafting compelling narratives and effective strategies. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with media planning, research, and other departments to establish comprehensive go-to-market strategies across various media platforms. Your leadership will be essential in mentoring our media team, enhancing their strategic thinking, storytelling abilities, and business insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of tailored strategies for healthcare providers and consumers, addressing their distinct needs.
- Oversee the complete media pitch process, from the initial Request for Proposal (RFP) to the final presentation, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Direct the new business RFP process, crafting strategic narratives and effective media strategies while planning channel mixes and measurement frameworks.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and presentation skills, conveying complex ideas to internal teams and senior client executives.
- Collaborate with various teams to define market entry strategies across all media channels, supporting media planning and analytics in their evaluations.
- Analyze data related to brand performance, market dynamics, and audience insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Mentor media team members to enhance their strategic and storytelling capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and optimization, utilizing data and analytics to build strong business cases.
- Lead and collaborate on new business initiatives, taking ownership of the strategic narrative.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in leading media strategy for clients, particularly within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare provider and patient media strategy development, especially for new therapeutic launches.
- Proven track record in executing segmentation, targeting, and engagement strategies across diverse therapeutic areas.
- Strong understanding of Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and performance marketing metrics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross-channel marketing, including television, search, social media, and display advertising.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and results effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in brand campaign management and lead generation with established accountability metrics.
- Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Enthusiasm for integrating AI technologies into media strategies.
