Emissions Reduction and Compliance
Pinchin Ltd. is looking for a Project Technologist to enhance our Emissions Reduction and Compliance division within the Water and Wastewater Services Team.
As a Project Technologist, you will be responsible for executing projects related to wastewater, stormwater, and drinking water sampling. Your role will involve assessments, collaboration on treatment system design and permitting, sample coordination, collection, data analysis, and report preparation. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure our clients adhere to environmental regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Water and Wastewater Services Team with various projects, including managing sample bottle inventory, coordinating sampling events, and report writing.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of improvements for drinking water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections to evaluate site conditions, system performance, and compliance with regulations, and assist in developing effective solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in infrastructure design.
- Prepare proposal documents and support project budget management and invoicing under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Exhibit professional conduct and adhere to quality control and health and safety protocols in all work environments.
- A college diploma or Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, environmental, natural, or chemical sciences is required.
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial or consulting environment is preferred.
- Eligibility for future licensure with a professional organization is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment when necessary and lift up to 20kg.
- A valid driver's license with sufficient insurance and access to a vehicle is required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Capable of reading, understanding, and proofreading written reports and correspondence.
