Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy food service environment.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise Food Service Staff: Train, supervise, and coordinate the activities of our food service staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service and preparing high-quality food.
  • Train Staff in Sanitation and Safety Procedures: Educate our staff on proper sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and ensure efficiency.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit regular reports to management on our food service operations.
