Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of assigned regional pharmacy locations, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement operational enhancements to improve service delivery across pharmacies.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare professionals and patients to strengthen community ties.
  • Guide pharmacy personnel in developing effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support the creation, management, and execution of specialized pharmacy solutions.
  • Assist in the auditing and management of regional pharmacy locations and network pharmacies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute strategic business plans.
  • Evaluate and refine operational processes to maximize pharmacy service efficiency.
  • Manage financial aspects related to billing and reconciliation aligned with financial objectives.
  • Coordinate with various divisions, including Distribution and Patient Programs, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by reporting adverse events as required.
  • Analyze operational metrics for strategic planning and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to regional Pharmacy Managers in operational and clinical functions.
  • Work with clients to design and implement innovative pharmacy services.
  • Support the launch of new pharmaceutical products within pharmacy services across Canada.
  • Maintain active pharmacy registration as required.
  • Travel up to 30% within Canada as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Registered Pharmacist with a strong background in pharmacy operations.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
  • Proven management experience with the ability to cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Strong negotiation skills for contract development with healthcare providers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting, billing, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Pharmacy and Nursing sectors.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution landscape.
  • Strong business acumen and financial insight.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
