Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at ADVANCED TRUCK AND CRANE LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This includes coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as managing budgets and expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Plan and control budgets and expenditures
  • Supervise other workers and establish policies and procedures
  • Train other workers and determine office procedures and routines
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations and plan recruitment strategies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and manage contracts
  • Manage training and development strategies and answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information and answer electronic enquiries
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies and compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers and oversee payroll administration
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations and greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Perform data entry and provide customer service
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions and maintain and manage digital databases
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff and assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
