Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Alio Health Services. As a key member of our Patient Support Programs (PSP) team, you will play a vital role in providing in-home support to our patients in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Administer In-Home Infusions and Injections: Provide educational training and supervision in the use of auto-injection and self-injection devices.
- Phlebotomy Services: Conduct phlebotomy procedures as required.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments directly with patients or with designated caregivers.
- Home Visits: Complete visits at the patient's home or other approved location.
- Follow-Up and Charting: Provide follow-up as needed for patient visits and complete required charting in a timely fashion.
- Reporting and Compliance: Report any possible adverse events within 24 hours and fulfill other duties as required for the position.
- Valid RN/RPN License: Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in BC.
- CPR Certification: Possess valid CPR certification.
- Experience and Skills: Have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on, post-graduation, nursing experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Documentation and Time Management: Demonstrate excellent documentation skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent time management skills.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, health professionals, and industry personnel.
- Home Office and Transportation: Have established a home office (including computer, internet connection, mobile phone) and a valid driver's license, with a reliable insured vehicle.
