Job Summary

C Ssystems is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Safety Engineer to join our team in the development and certification of safety-critical systems in the aerospace, electric, and autonomous driving industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety and security analyses in accordance with industry standards, including ISO 26262, ISO 13849, and IEC 61508.
  • Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Define safety goals and requirements for system components and subsystems, including hardware and software.
  • Develop and implement safety analyses, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Participate in technical discussions as part of business development efforts.
  • Review and provide feedback on functional safety and cybersecurity work products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in system safety engineering, with a focus on automotive systems.
  • Experience in hazard analysis and risk assessments (HARA / HAZOP).
  • Experience in system safety analysis type FMEA.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients.
