Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, approachable, and customer-focused individuals to take on the role of Supervisor within our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

People Management

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons.
  • Encourage a workplace culture that promotes collaboration and positivity.
  • Act as a mentor and motivator for team members.
  • Assign tasks to staff and prioritize activities in collaboration with management.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, participating in meetings and sharing relevant updates.
  • Support team members while aligning with management goals.
Customer Engagement
  • Provide outstanding service to customers, greeting them upon entry and assisting with product selection.
  • Drive sales by offering knowledgeable recommendations and product insights.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products and services.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints, ensuring management is informed of any issues.
  • Collaborate with management on product launches and promotional strategies.
  • Utilize local market insights to enhance customer offerings.
Financial Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with opening and closing protocols.
  • Complete daily financial reports and secure cash deposits.
Operational Duties
  • Work with management to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising and pricing standards.
  • Assist in daily operational tasks and maintain store presentation.
  • Manage communication in the absence of management.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering processes.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and other relevant guidelines.
  • Maintain necessary certifications and training for compliance.
Qualifications

Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.
  • Preferred 1 year of supervisory experience.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • ProServe/Serving It Right Certification is required.
Skills and Attributes
  • Self-motivated and customer-oriented.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Sales-driven with a solid understanding of retail operations.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Commitment to Safety
