Our workforce comprises over 2,500 individuals across 18 manufacturing facilities, 2 corporate and sales offices, and 3 research and development centers globally.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee procurement processes from requisition through to receipt, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement Director to align site procurement activities with vendor agreements and expectations.
- Coordinate with Planning and Inventory teams to maintain supply chain consistency.
- Manage the logistics of materials, goods, and products, including imports and exports, to effectively meet production demands.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business operations, vendor seasonality, and production limitations to enhance lead times and drive process improvements.
- Work alongside the Supply Chain team to refine supply chain, planning, and logistics operations, updating variables in the ERP system for improved efficiency.
- Assess ordering and stocking strategies across the division to adhere to budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure the accuracy and upkeep of the ERP system.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal and external teams for seamless information exchange and order management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to protect the well-being of staff and visitors.
- Exemplify our core values in all interactions.
- Support compliance with corporate policies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in procurement, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, customer requirements, and product specifications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with ERP systems (experience with IFS is a plus but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with lean methodologies is advantageous.
