About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Cabernet Foods Group.

As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's operational activities meet the required legal and ethical standards, while enabling the business to achieve its goals.

Your focus will be on maintaining quality, environmental, and food safety control requirements across production, warehouse, and logistics operations.

You will undertake internal audits and checks, working alongside the team to identify risks and resolve non-conformance concerns.

Additionally, you will act as the key point of contact for external agencies, including MPI, AQ, and consent authorities, to maintain critical accreditation, certification, and licenses.

You will provide support and guidance to all areas of the business, ensuring key documentation, including SOPs, remains current and relevant.

You will also respond to customer compliance enquiries and identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives to support the organization's goals and ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality, environmental, and food safety control requirements
  • Undertake internal audits and checks
  • Act as key point of contact for external agencies
  • Provide support and guidance to all areas of the business
  • Respond to customer compliance enquiries
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality control within a food environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and requirements

  • Exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication with a strong attention to detail
