Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic

NCSG Crane and Heavy Haul Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Acheson, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and service of property, equipment, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Daily maintenance of property, equipment, and vehicles throughout the facility.
  • Inspect and evaluate operating conditions of equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform maintenance activities and modify existing equipment and systems to keep the facility in good running order.
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with established department policies and safety regulations.
  • Attend training sessions to update technical knowledge as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Journeyman Certificate.
  • CVIP License required.
  • Valid Driver's License and five-year commercial driver's abstract prior to hiring.
  • Fall Arrest, WHIMIS 2015, CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid, and CSTS 2020 training.
  • Must be fully vaccinated to access all sites as per site owner's requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a busy shop environment inspecting and repairing cranes and heavy equipment.
  • Experience working on cranes, specifically Liebherr crawlers, Grove, Linkbelt, and Tadano cranes.
  • Experience creating department records and maintenance logs.
  • Must have own tools.
