Acheson, Canada Custom Truck One Source Full time

Job Summary:

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on truck-mounted utility equipment, including boom, bucket, diggers, dump, service, forestry, and aerial cranes, as well as other truck-mounted equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PMs, maintenance, and repairs on truck-mounted utility equipment.
  • Assess, diagnose, repair, and/or replace damaged or worn parts on vocational/utility trucks and equipment.
  • Provide repair and maintenance to medium/heavy duty trucks, with a background in hydraulics and electrical a plus.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor to track costs.
  • Submit work/repair orders to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Journeyman Alberta Skilled Trades Ticket or Red Seal, Heavy Duty Truck.
  • Valid driver's license (Class 1 or 3 a plus).
  • Must have own tools.
