As an Administrative Support Associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for efficient management of communications within the healthcare environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring timely responses and effective information flow.
  • Welcome and direct patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
  • Maintain and organize patient records and documentation with a focus on confidentiality.
  • Facilitate the scheduling of appointments and consultations, ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Process and transcribe clinician orders, including those related to medications and diagnostic services.
  • Ensure that necessary supplies are readily available for the healthcare team.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the overall functioning of the unit.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education. Successful completion of an accredited Administrative Support Course or equivalent training program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated critical thinking abilities, along with strong time-management and organizational skills in a dynamic environment. Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing interruptions and distractions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by well-developed interpersonal abilities.
