Senior Resource Management Specialist

In the role of Senior Resource Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the global resource allocation process within the IT PMO. Your primary focus will be on ensuring optimal capacity planning and effective resource distribution to enhance project outcomes. You will collaborate closely with HUB PMO Directors and Project Managers to resolve resource conflicts, track project progress, and nurture stakeholder relationships. Furthermore, you will take ownership of resource management tools, document operational procedures, and deliver insights aimed at improving business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate efficient resource allocation and capacity management
  • Oversee resource management tools
  • Track project workloads and activities
  • Resolve resource conflicts effectively
  • Strategically plan resourcing for current and future projects
  • Document the resource management process
  • Provide analytical metrics and reporting for ongoing enhancements
  • Engage with key stakeholders to address project resourcing requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in PMO or project management
  • Experience managing resources across multiple geographical locations
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Additional Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English
  • Preferred skills in presentation and training
  • Relevant project/program management certification is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
