Project Coordinator, IT PMO Specialist

Position SummaryThe Project Coordinator, IT PMO will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of projects within the IT PMO. This individual will work closely with the Senior Project Manager or Program Manager, HUB Portfolio Manager, business leads, and various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:- Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Confirm resource availability and allocation.
- Manage tasks of a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Coordinate internal resources, 3rd party suppliers, and delivery partners as required.
- Ensure risks and issues are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhere to governance as defined within the PMO process.
- Update project status management reports.
- Ensure project documentation is produced and maintained.
- Work within the company's financial processes.
- Engage with stakeholders as required.
- Work outside normal working hours where project delivery requires it.
- Adhere to WSP Health and Safety standards.
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Enrolment in a relevant program/project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE Practitioner, PMP) would be preferred.
- ITIL v3 Foundation as a minimum, with certification in one or more of the following: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement.
- Practical knowledge of methodologies and frameworks: Lean, six-sigma, Agile.
- Experience with knowledge and understanding of governance frameworks.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills into the profession of Project/Program Management.
We're also looking for candidates with:
- MS Project Experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to be coached and mentored.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with peers and leaders.
- Working experience in project management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive self-starter who can also work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills and capable of multi-tasking.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and seek assistance with resolution on complex problems.
- Effective use of Office 365.
- Tracking budgets.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the IT PMO Organisation.
