Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Opa Souvlaki of Greece. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Food Quality and Control
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service or hospitality management role.
- Personal Qualities
- Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Work Conditions
- Work 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
English is the primary language used in this role.
