Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Forensic Technology practice in the GTA. As a leader in this field, you will be responsible for planning and supervising a team of forensic technology professionals to execute on the identification, acquisition, processing, and analysis of digital information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of forensic technology professionals in executing on digital information analysis, including court orders and e-discovery matters.
  • Work closely with peers in e-discovery and cyber security practices to provide a solid controls-based approach to evidence collection.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, lead interviews, and facilitate client workshops to communicate complex technical information to clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and develop creative solutions to address client needs.
  • Provide expert testimony in litigation or arbitration settings as required.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in an information security capacity with experience conducting forensic investigations or cyber security breach investigations.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in an advisory or external consulting capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft and Apple OS structure and artifacts.
  • Strong understanding of file systems, including FAT, FAT32, NTFS, HFS, and HFS+.
  • Experience with mobile device preservation and analysis for Android, Apple, and Blackberry devices.
  • Fluency working with software tools such as Encase, Axiom, X-Ways, FTK, and IEF.
  • Experience with software such as Nuix, Relativity, EDT, SQL, Oracle, and SAS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to clearly and articulately identify and define problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations, lead interviews, and facilitate client workshops.
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to develop detailed technical reports and executive summaries.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and comfort with receiving and providing feedback.
  • Proven relationship development and management skills with demonstrated ability to interact, establish credibility, and engender trust with a wide range of professionals across all levels.
