We are seeking a skilled Senior Cook to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Senior Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food service for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve meals to residents in our community
- Ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed
- Follow specially prepared Sunrise menus and production sheets to maintain the highest possible quality and consistency
- Ensure compliance with all record keeping, food safety, and risk management requirements
- Maintains a current ServSafe certificate or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified
- One year of job-related experience, including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets
- A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
- A high school diploma or GED accepted
