ZOO Digital Group is seeking a dedicated Junior Sound Engineer to contribute to our audio production efforts. The Junior Sound Engineer will play a crucial role in generating Quality Control documentation for various ProTools sessions received from production teams. Additionally, this position involves executing fundamental Audio Editorial tasks to ensure compliance with specifications and supporting the Audio Video QC team in final deliverable quality checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prequalify Printmaster, Music & Effects, and Stems packages, including detailed reporting.
- Conduct loudness conformance, rename session files, and produce deliverable outputs for audio mixes.
- Edit and enhance dialogue audio to eliminate unwanted noise and irregularities while ensuring synchronization.
- Adapt audio to alternate and revised program versions, including legacy localized audio streams.
- Prepare and conform ProTools packages and mix sessions.
- Encode and decode various Dolby and DTS formats.
- Maintain organized project files and assets to facilitate smooth project transitions and ensure accessible archival materials (dialogue stems, print masters, and mix sessions) when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to guarantee that all audio deliverables meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new audio editing software and systems.
- Engage in continuous learning of new and updated specifications from project to project and client to client.
- All tasks are driven by scheduling and customer satisfaction, making reliability and punctuality essential.
- Applicants must be available to work on-site and have flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.
