About Precision Analytics

We are a leading provider of data analytics solutions, and we are seeking a talented Junior Software Developer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Developer to work on our software development team. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for independently driving tasks assigned to you to completion, collaborating with key stakeholders to understand and satisfy business requirements, and working closely with our experienced data scientists to assist them in executing their analyses as efficiently as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new features and resolve issues in existing features to enable clients to meet their goals
  • Work on both the front- and back-end of interactive dashboards and enterprise web applications
  • Learn and work in different programming languages
  • Explore and discuss various programming paradigms and software libraries
  • Test, debug, and refactor existing codebases
  • Learn from others' code and receive feedback in pull-request reviews
  • Assist in the exploration and wrangling of new data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Experience using Git and GitHub
  • Comfortable working with Linux via a command-line interface
  • Able to communicate in English clearly and accurately with people from various technical backgrounds
  • Ability to manage and query data in a relational database management system using SQL
