As an e-Builder PMIS Developer, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including the e-Builder steering committee and end users. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from implementing system modifications and developing custom solutions to providing comprehensive training and support to GN employees.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the e-Builder steering committee and end users to implement account level changes, including process refinements, data field adjustments, report generation, form creation, dashboard development, and template design.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the GN PMIS software, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide onboarding and training sessions for new users, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the e-Builder system.
  • Participate in crisis management situations when unexpected issues arise within the e-Builder processes.
  • Offer mentorship and advanced support to GN e-Builder Administrators, fostering their expertise and proficiency.
  • Provide phone or remote support to GN employees using administration tools provided by the organization. This may occasionally involve travel to communities outside of Iqaluit.
  • Communicate with the e-Builder technical support team and developers to resolve issues and submit enhancement requests.
  • Engage with the GN e-Builder Account Manager to discuss integration strategies, customization options, and future training initiatives.
  • Administer, maintain, and monitor the e-Builder system, ensuring its optimal performance and security.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of two years of experience implementing, developing, and administering Project Management Information System (PMIS) software.
  • A post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of construction procurement strategies, practices, and considerable experience in managing consultant and construction contracts would be highly advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of Government workflows, processes, and approvals.
  • Familiarity with modern project management best practices and significant experience in project delivery is a valuable asset.
