About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Outdoor Power Equipment Specialist to join our team at Timberland Supply Inc. As an Outdoor Power Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert repair and maintenance services for a variety of outdoor power equipment, including garden tractors, gasoline-powered equipment, lawn mowers, outboard motors, and marine engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Repair Costs: Accurately assess the cost of repairs for outdoor power equipment, taking into account the type of equipment, the extent of the damage, and the necessary parts and labor required.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts: Use hand tools and equipment to adjust, repair, or replace parts on outdoor power equipment, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Equipment: Thoroughly test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and safely.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Provide regular maintenance services for outdoor power equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine tasks.
  • Advise Customers: Provide expert advice to customers on the work performed and the condition of their equipment, helping them to make informed decisions about their outdoor power equipment needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in outdoor power equipment repair and maintenance
