Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanics to become part of our team. The ideal candidates will be tasked with a range of responsibilities related to the maintenance and repair of large trucks, construction machinery, and trailer units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy transport vehicles
  • Diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various vehicle systems
  • Documenting all work completed in detail
  • Inspecting mechanical components for potential faults
  • Replacing or repairing parts as necessary
  • Executing scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Testing and calibrating systems to meet specifications
  • Ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Carrying out other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Truck and Transport Technician certification or a minimum of 2 years of apprenticeship experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the trucking or heavy equipment sector
  • Capability to perform comprehensive repair and overhaul tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
