We are seeking a skilled Community Health & Home Care Nurse to join our team at the First Nations Health Authority. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive nursing services to First Nations communities across the province.
Key Responsibilities- Provide core nursing functions and services, including community/public health, primary care, and home care.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to promote health, prevent disease, and protect population health.
- Focus on curative, rehabilitation, and supportive or palliative care.
- Travel to various communities across the province to provide services.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
- Understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols.
- Knowledge of nursing processes.
- Experience in public health, home care nursing, or community health (1-2 years).
