Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at KFC/Taco Bell. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet customer demand and maintain quality standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure efficient service.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on kitchen operations and staff performance.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage to inform kitchen operations and inventory management.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Establish work schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
