Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Cost Controller to enhance our operations within the Mining Sector. This role is pivotal in driving internal project performance and providing essential support to our clients.

Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the establishment and coordination of budget, cost, and schedule control within designated responsibilities.
  • Implement Project Controls according to established workflows.
  • Prepare and maintain the project's cash flow.
  • Manage the project's Purchase Order (PO) list, ensuring all necessary information is readily available for external inquiries.
  • Set up and maintain the project's cost structure in SAP.
  • Ensure accurate booking of all POs and invoices, preventing any deviations from the approved budget.
  • Maintain the project's budget database and SAP interface sheets, including all POs and invoices on the central controlling server.
  • Oversee the project's schedule.
  • Generate monthly, weekly, and stakeholder reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree/diploma in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project controls, preferably within the Mining sector or in an EPCM environment.
  • Proficient understanding of project controls, cost management, procurement/contracts, document control, and project reporting.
  • Experience with SAP is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with project leaders, engineering, procurement, and other stakeholders to gather cost data.
